Since the 2024 National Senior Certification (NSC) examinations kick-off, Higher{Education and Training Minister, Dr Nobuhle Pamela Nkabane, has reminded all matriculants to seize the chance to submit an application for funding with the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).

"The applying window will shut on fifteen December 2024, and you'll find not many days left to post applications. Qualified students are urged to apply promptly to secure economic assistance for his or her post-school education," Nkabane said.

Nkabane extended well wishes to all matriculants, who sat for the National Senior Certificate Examinations, with learners writing languages, English and Afrikaans Paper 3.

Nkabane claimed this pivotal moment marks the culmination of many years of hard work and encourages the Class of 2024 to approach their exams with resolve and self more info esteem.

With Just more than 880 000 candidates, including 727 121 full-time and 155,215 part-time candidates from throughout South Africa sit for this calendar year's matric exams, across South Africa, Basic Education Minister, Siviwe Gwarube, has assured the general public of the department's preparedness to administer the exams efficiently.

Nkabane highlighted an array of options readily available within the Post-School Education and Training (PSET) system, that's open to all matriculants seeking even more instruction and skills development.

The PSET system includes:

• Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges: Focusing on practical skills and technical knowledge to equip click here students for employment and self-employment.
